That time from the winter holidays to Valentine's Day seems to stretch on. Many of us are still pulling strands of tinsel from vacuum cleaner brushes and promising ourselves that this year we really will label each box of decorations, instead of prowling through to find that one special ornament or candleholder that we know is somewhere!
February Fine Forgiveness! -- The library will celebrate Valentine's Day for the whole month of February! All books returned during that time, no matter how many or how long overdue, will incur no love offering for fines. This Valentine gift is to show appreciation for the many years of your patronage and support.
The library has added more than 200 new books this season. You can find them on the 'New Shelf' near the desk. New additions will be featured there for about six weeks before they are moved to the main collection.
You may have noticed things being moved around in the library. A thorough restructuring has been initiated to make room for a wider range of books and the introduction of media. The audiotape section tripled and video added. Also, a humble beginning for a CD collection has been started.
Would you like the idea of a 'books on tape and CD' being started? Many of us don't have the time or eyesight to sustain reading and it might be helpful to have our favorite classics and inspirational material handy so that it could be popped into our car tape or CD player while driving. Please stop in or leave a note if you would be interested.

Rev. Lynn's super-duper talks are available on tape. You can request past talks by date or subject.
Remember, even in this techo-age, there is nothing as comforting as curling up in an easychair with a soft comforter, a cup of hot cocoa, and a good book (you don't have to wait for the commercial to get a snack).
READ ON!
